Recent and current Butler Studio artists are having a big summer

Alissa Goretsky is entering her third year as a Butler Studio artist. This summer, she performs as Kate Pinkerton in Madame Butterfly, covers Tatiana in Eugene Onegin, and covers Gerda in Lili Elbe at Santa Fe Opera.

Elizabeth Hanje is entering her third year as a Butler Studio artist. This summer, she is part of a Voice Residency with Festival d'Aix-en-Provence. She is also invited to compete in the renowned Belvedere Singing Competition in Jurmala, Latvia.

This summer, new Bulter Studio alumnus Michael McDermott performs as Alfredo in La traviata at Verbier Festival.

 This summer, recent Butler Studio alumnus Demetrious Sampson, Jr. performs as Cavaradossi in Tosca at Wolf Trap. He was also invited to compete in the Belvedere Singing Competition.

Luka Tsevelidze is entering his second year as a Butler Studio artist. This summer, he covers Cavaradossi in Tosca and Ballad Singer in Of Mice and Men at Des Moines Metro Opera.

Sam Dhobhany is entering his third year as a Butler Studio artist. This summer, he is attending the International Meistersinger Akademie. He was also invited to compete in the  Belvedere Singing Competition.

Geonho Lee is entering his second year as a Butler Studio artist. This summer, he is part of a Master's Recital at Hochschule für Musik und Theater München. He was also invited to compete in the Belvedere Singing Competition.

This summer, new Butler Studio alumnus Shawn Roth performs as Da-Ud in The Egyptian Helen at Bard SummerScape.

Ziniu Zhao is entering his third year as a Butler Studio artist. This summer, he performs as Don Magnifico in La Cenerentola at Wolf Trap Opera.

This summer, recent Butler Studio alumna Jenny Choo serves as a coach at Prague Summer Nights.

Tzu Kuang Tan is entering his second year as a Butler Studio artist. This summer, he serves as a coach for Tosca and coaches the Scenes Program at Wolf Trap Opera.
