Biography

Originally from Dallas, Texas, soprano Sophia Formella recently graduated with her Master of Music Degree in Opera Performance from Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Sophia also holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Education and Vocal Performance from the Frost School of Music at University of Miami. Sophia has performed with Frost Opera Theatre, Boston Conservatory Opera Theatre, and Miami Music Festival as a studio artist. Sophia has taught General Music, Piano, and Voice to all ages. This year, Sophia will be working as a Teaching Artist with Houston Grand Opera, and as an Audience Services Representative for the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
