Biography

During the 2025-26 season, Luke Fedell serves as fight director in Silent Night. Previously as HGO, Fedell served as fight director for Falstaff (2023), the world premiere of Intelligence (2023), Favorite (2020), Faust (2016), Carlisle Floyd’s Prince of Players (2016). He has also performed as Rufflan in Carlisle Floyd's Prince of Players and as Frid in A Little Night Music (2014). Fedell is an active theatre practitioner in the Houston area and a certified Advanced Actor Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors. He has performed in and staged fight choreography at various theatres across the country, including in New York City, and has also worked internationally in Taiwan and Scotland. Additionally, he has worked at several notable local Houston theatres, including the Alley Theatre, Stages, Rec Room, Mildred's Umbrella, Catastrophic Theatre, and the Classical Theatre Company. Fedell holds an MFA in Performance and Movement Pedagogy from Texas Tech University and is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Arts and Communication at the University of Houston-Downtown. He also serves as the Director of the University’s O’Kane Theatre and the Drama Program.
