About the Artist: Native Houstonian Tye Blue has lived and worked all over the world as an entertainer. He has opened for legends Chaka Khan, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Al Jerreau, and Thelma Houston and recently was executive producer of his own debut CD, titled Here. He is active in the Houston nightlife community, creating, producing, and headlining multiple special events every week for the past three years, including The Tye Blue Review at the House of Blues, Testify! at the Vue nightclub, Rainbow on the Green at Discovery Green, Drag Live at F Bar, and many others. Blue was featured in the world tour of the Broadway production of Rent, the European tour of Hair, and in many guest spots in regional theaters across the United States. He has starred as Dr. Frank'N'Furter in The Rocky Horrow Show at Houston's Music Box Theatre and with Bayou City Theatrics. Readers of OutSmart magazine have voted him Best Male Entertainer in Houston for the past three years.
