On Saturday, April 15, 2023, Houston’s most illustrious arts patrons, leaders, movers, shakers, and tastemakers will gather in style for Opera Ball 2023
For more than four decades, Houston’s Opera Ball has taken center-stage as one of the most celebrated events on our great city’s gala calendar. A highlight of the dazzling evening is our much-anticipated silent auction showcasing the best of Houston, dining, travel, jewelry, fashion, art, entertainment, superb wines and spirits, and more!
Please consider donating to the Opera Ball auction. For your generosity, you or your business will receive:
- Visual brand display at Opera Ball and on our auction preview website shared with 1,000+ HGO Patrons and Ball guests before the Ball
- Opportunity to be featured in a category-exclusive “Auction Highlights” email*
- Opportunity to be included in HGO's digital "Little Black Book"—an at-your-fingertips resource for our donors that spotlights and links to the Best of Houston who support HGO—going live Fall 2023.

Auction Display Items: By signing this Auction Donor Form, the donor(s) agrees to release and indemnify HGO, its representatives or employees, from and against all claims and judgments which may result from damage to or loss of any items the donor(s) has provided solely for display purposes during HGO’s Opera Ball 2023.
Subject to any Special Conditions listed above, the donor(s) represents that the donor(s) owns the property described above (the “Donation”) without encumbrance, and the donor(s) gives the donation to HGO with the purpose and intent of transferring all rights and interest in the donation to HGO from this date forward.
Houston Grand Opera is a 501(c)(3) corporation, and your gift is tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law and with the restrictions imposed. Valuation of the donated item(s) for federal tax purposes is the responsibility of the donor. If you have questions concerning the deductibility of donated items, contact your tax advisor.
