THE EVENING
For over 60 years, Opera Ball has wowed and delighted with themes centered on storied locations around the globe, from Vienna to Morocco and everywhere in between.
2023 is the year of Houston! Opera Ball 2023 will spotlight many of the fabulously bold things that make up this great city! The music and entertainment, the culinary creations, the ambiance and style, and best of all, the people, promise to span the vast cultural landscape and spirit that makes us all HoUSton proud—and makes HGO Houston’s opera company.
The evening starts with a lively red-carpet arrival on the Wortham’s Fish Plaza, and a glamorous, bustling reception and silent auction. An inspired dinner, entertainment, and dancing the night away follows.
HGO is a World Champion in the art of opera and we are so fortunate to call Houston home.
Your contribution to Opera Ball will have a remarkable impact on HGO’s tireless mission to create outstanding experiences centered around the human voice for all of Houston.
