The Menil Collection Statement  

The Menil Collection welcomes you this evening for Houston Grand Opera’s “Seeking the Human Spirit” performance. The Menil consists of a group of five art buildings and green spaces located within a residential neighborhood in central Houston. The museum is committed to the belief that art is essential to human experience and fosters direct personal encounters with works of art, aiming to be an oasis in the midst of daily life that offers each viewer a moment to pause, reflect, and reinvigorate. The Menil welcomes all visitors free of charge to its buildings and surrounding green spaces. Hours are Wednesday–Sunday, 11 a.m.–7 p.m. Learn more at menil.org.
