  • Song of Houston
Houston Grand Opera is proud to be a cultural resource for one of America's most thriving and diverse cities. In addition to finding new ways to share opera's most timeless stories, HGO makes an ongoing commitment through HGOco's Song of Houston initiative to create the opera of today and celebrate the stories all around us.

Through Song of Houston, Houston Grand Opera is the only opera company ever to win a National MultiCultural Institute's Leading Lights Award (2009).

Join us to experience your city in a different way through exciting new works and innovative projects inspired by Houston's vibrant communities.

Previous Song of Houston projects include East + West, The Refuge, Home and Place, Mexico 2010, and Pieces of 9/11 - Memories from Houston. For more information, please click PAST PROGRAMS
