HGO Premiere

The beloved Rodgers and Hammerstein musical comes to the HGO stage for the first time ever with Jeanine De Bique as Maria–the free spirit who is not quite ready to become a nun–and Michael Mayes as Captain von Trapp. The beloved tale of the power of music and family in pre-WWII Austria features some of the best-known songs in American musical theater including “My Favorite Things,” “Sixteen Going on Seventeen,” and “Do-Re-Mi.” Don’t miss the chance to hear this legendary score played by the full HGO Orchestra, conducted by Richard Bado.
