Please be sure to display your purple valet pass on your dashboard for the entire evening—both concert and dinner. A street closure on Prairie will be in effect for our event, and only those with a valet pass (including private drivers) will be given access.
For guests with a PURPLE valet pass, valet parking drop-off is on Prairie St. between Smith and Bagby. Please enter via the far right lanes.
For guests with a GOLD valet pass, the valet parking or private driver drop-off location is at 510 Preston St. between Bagby and Smith—this is at the back of the Wortham and also known as the Stage Door. On arrival, you will be escorted into the Wortham. Following the concert, we ask that you proceed to the Masterson Green Room to be escorted back to Stage Door VIP valet. Valet opens at 5:30 p.m.
Complimentary parking and shuttle arrangements have been made for Patrons attending the concert only to help avoid the rush hour concert congestion around the Wortham. Please follow the below instructions to access and exit the garage.

Thirty years after Plácido Domingo’s last star performance on the Wortham’s Alice and George Brown stage, Hurricane Harvey ravaged the Wortham Theater Center with over 12 feet of water, devastating the building leaving the Theater District reeling, and necessitating a year-long journey to recovery.
The evening of September 26 will see Plácido Domingo, soprano Ana María Martínez, and the HGO Orchestra, led by Patrick Summers, back on the Brown stage for a stirring concert, 30 years in the making.
Following the concert, join Domingo and friends for a spectacular celebration dinner at the Post Oak at Uptown Houston.
Proceeds from this extraordinary event will benefit Houston Grand Opera’s efforts post–Hurricane Harvey to create thrilling and engaging art for our community.
Event tickets and tables include premium concert seats and the celebration dinner.
