HGO Board member Robin Angly and her husband Miles Smith have generously agreed to match any gift to HGO to support HGO artists before May 16, up to $50,000.

COVID-19 has already seriously impacted HGO’s finances. The full effect won’t be known for a while, but we already know our artists are hurting the most.

With spring performances canceled, they have no income in sight. These incredibly talented individuals will struggle to afford health insurance, rent, and basic living costs in these trying times.

HGO has made the bold pledge to pay our artists 50% of their fees for the spring season, despite the cancelation of the operas. We can’t do this without your help.

Artists are hurting right now. They need you. Show them they are absolutely vital to our community, especially in times like these.
