Cultivating Empathy Through Music and Storytelling

Building mutual respect and understanding creates more empathetic professionals who are poised to deeply listen, find common ground, and work more cooperatively with one another. Our fun and uplifting workshop is designed to bring your team together and build morale through a series of activities that cultivate self-awareness, self-management and relationship skills.

The workshop can be 60 - 90 minutes in length and is available virtually (via Zoom) or in person when it is safe to do so. Up to 30 participants per session is optimal, but we can accommodate a variety of situations.

This workshop was inspired by research conducted by Marcel Zentner, et. al. (2008), Emotions Evoked by the Sound of Music: Characterization, Classification, and Measurement. It incorporates Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) core competencies as identified by The Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL).
