Wise Women in Opera

Creating a community of artistic freedom for women with life experience

Celebrating Women’s History Month, individuals 55+ are invited by Houston Grand Opera, Minnesota Opera, and Guerilla Opera to join a free, three-day creative aging workshop for life long learners. All non-binary and female identifying persons are welcome.

Participants will explore operatic forms of storytelling as they learn how to set words to music with special guest, composer Faye Chiao, develop visual concepts for the stage, and share stories lifting up influential women from their lives.
