During HGO's 2026-27 season, Giacomo Sagripanti makes his company debut conducting Faust. Elsewhere this season, Sagripanti conducts Samson and Delilah with the Metropolitan Opera, La bohème with Gran Teatre del Liceu, Manon Lescaut with Vienna State Opera, and The Barber of Seville with Teatro Real de Madrid. In the 2025-26 season, Sagripanti conducted The Daughter of the Regiment with the Metropolitan Opera, La bohème with Vienna State Opera, La traviata with London’s Royal Ballet and Opera, Il trovatore with Opéra de Monte-Carlo, Macbeth with Oper Frankfurt, and Norma at Bavarian State Opera. Acknowledged as Best Young Conductor at the 2016 International Opera Awards, he works regularly in theaters such as the Opéra National de Paris, London’s Royal Ballet and Opera, Madrid’s Teatro Real, Vienna State Opera, as well as at the festivals like Pesaro Rossini Opera Festival, Choregies d’Orange, and Aix en Provence. He regularly collaborates with symphonic orchestras such as the RAI Orchestra in Turin, the WDR Funkhausorchester Köln, the Orchestra of the Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse, Orchestre de chambre de Paris, Münchner Rundfunkorchester, Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla, Seattle Symphony Orchestra, and Sinfónica Siciliana.
