During HGO's 2026-27 season, Galeano Salas makes his company debut as the Italian tenor in Der Rosenkavalier. A recipient of the Bavarian Art Prize, in 2026 he appeared in a globally broadcast Arena di Verona gala celebrating Italian opera’s designation as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Other engagements during the 2026-27 include Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Nemorino in The Elixir of Love at Berlin’s Staatsoper Unter den Linden, Alfredo in La traviata in Turin, Rodolfo in La bohème at Teatro Verdi Trieste, and his role debut as Arturo Talbo in I puritani at Teatro alla Scala Milan.  In the 2025-26 season, Salas returned to the Arena di Verona as Alfredo in La traviata, Ismaele in Nabucco, and Il Duca di Mantova in Rigoletto. He joined the ensemble of the Teatro Comunale di Modena as Rodolfo in La bohème, followed by Puccini’s Le Villi at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona. Additional engagements included Don José in Carmen with the KBS Symphony Orchestra in Seoul, Romeo in Romeo and Juliet at Teatro Verdi Trieste, Nemorino in The Elixir of Love at the Tirana Opera House, and Ismaele in Nabucco at the Teatro Municipale Giuseppe Verdi di Salerno. He also returned to the Bavarian State Opera as Rodolfo in La bohème, appeared in concert at the Teatre Principal de Maó and Teatro Massimo Palermo, and continued his collaboration with the Royal Danish Opera (KGL Teater) in Rigoletto
