During HGO's 2026-27 season, Camille Charara makes her HGO debut as the associate costume designer for Der Rosenkavalier. During the 2025-26 season, Charara served as the costume designer for A Midsummer Night’s Dream with the Yale Dramatic Association and Hurricane Diane with Columbia University, and as an assistant costume designer for Oklahoma! at the Glimmerglass Festival. Charara is an adjunct professor and design mentor for the Undergraduate Department of Drama at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, teaching costume techniques, beginning cutting and draping, and costume crafts. She holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from New York University and Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Michigan. She will serve as the costume designer for The New Jersey Institute of Technology’s Into the Woods.
