Raised between Hawai'i and New Zealand, and currently based in France, Amit Noy makes his company debut as the revival choreographer for Faust during HGO’s 2026-27 season. Noy's work has been commissioned and presented by Théâtre de la Ville—Paris, Festival Montpellier Danse, Sadler's Wells London, and the Pina Bausch Zentrum, among others. In 2022, Noy received the Pina Bausch Fellowship for Dance and Choreography to study with Miguel Gutierrez and Deborah Hay, and was made a Springboard laureate by the Arts Foundation of New Zealand. Since 2019, Noy has danced with Michael Keegan-Dolan’s company Teaċ Daṁsa (MÁM, Nobodaddy,1975, and The Only Tune), performing at La Biennale di Venezia, the Athens Epidaurus Festival, Santiago a Mil-Chile, and Taipei International Festival of the Arts, among others. He also writes about dance and performance for publications including Artforum, BOMB Magazine, The Brooklyn Rail, and Gagosian Quarterly.
