About the Artist:
During his tenure as an HGO Studio artist (2011–14), Scott Quinn performed Alfredo in performances of Die Fledermaus (2013, 2014), Mr. Erlanson in A Little Night Music (2014), and performances of Rodolfo in La bohème (2013, 2012). He has since returned to HGO as Pirelli in Sweeney Todd and in outdoor performances of Tamino in The Magic Flute (2015). During the 2015–16 season, he makes house and role debuts with San Francisco Opera as Števa Buryja in Jenůfa, Den Jyske Opera as Fritz in L’amico Fritz, and Arizona Opera as Don José in Carmen. In coming seasons, he makes debuts with Seattle Opera and Palm Beach Opera and returns to San Francisco Opera. Recent performances include Alfredo in La traviata with Lyric Opera of Kansas City, the Duke in Rigoletto with Atlanta Opera, Narraboth in Salome with The Dallas Opera, Ferrando in Così fan tutte with Fort Worth Opera, and Pinkerton in Madame Butterfly with Chautauqua Opera. He is a former artist in residence of The Dallas Opera, where his performances included Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet, Roderigo in Otello, and Lord Cecil in Roberto Devereux.
