The 2019-2020 season sees her as Wellgunde in Götterdämmerung with the National Taichung Theatre in Taiwan, the cover of Sister Helen Prejean in Dead Man Walking and singing the 2nd Norn in Götterdämmerung and Waltraute in Die Walküre at Lyric Opera of Chicago, covering Marguerite in Berlioz’s Le damnation de Faust with the Metropolitan Opera, and Celeste in the world premiere of Castor and Patience with Cincinnati Opera. Her 2018-2019 season included Wowkle in La fanciulla del West with Maryland Lyric Opera, Tamara in Enemies, A Love Story with Kentucky Opera, Eva Crowley in An American Dream with Lyric Opera of Chicago, Verdi’s Requiem with the El Paso Choral Society, Maddalena in Rigoletto with New Orleans Opera, Herodias in Salome with Dayton Opera, and Grimgerde in Die Walküre with the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
Recent seasons included Waltraute in Die Walküre with Lyric Opera of Chicago, her Minnesota Opera debut as Sister Helen in Dead Man Walking, the world premiere of Angela Rice’s Thy Will Be Done with the National Chorale at Lincoln Center, Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen with the American Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, Messiah with the Handel Oratorio Society, Meg in Falstaff with Intermountain Opera, Waltraute in Die Walküre with the Dallas Symphony, and Leonora in La favorita with New Amsterdam Opera. Other recent engagements include her debut with Lyric Opera of Chicago singing Hécube and covering Didon in Les Troyens, Wellgunde in Das Rheingold with National Taichung Theatre in Taiwan, covering Sister Helen in Dead Man Walking at Washington National Opera, Wellgunde in Götterdämmerung with Houston Grand Opera, and Wellgunde in Das Rheingold with the Boston Symphony Orchestra at Tanglewood.
