About the Artist: Xevi Dorca has worked extensively as a dancer, choreographer, and actor, and has appeared in numerous plays and commercials. Early in his career, he won the Best Dancer Award in the Madrid Choreographic Competition, and an attached scholarship made him a member of the Transitions Dance Company at the Laban Centre in London. He has also worked with Búbulus, Contemporary Ballet of Barcelona, Chicos Mambo, Iliacan, and Rasatabula dance companies. He served as assistant to director Joan Font and choreographer Montse Colomé for a production of Orfeo and Euridice by Els Comediants theater collective, performed as a dancer and actor in Paella Mixta with the Sol Picó company, and danced and contributed to the choreography of El Ganxo with the Mar Gómez dance and theater company at Gran Teatre del Liceu. He performed as an actor and dancer in the film Shakespeare Meeting Point, and co-produced, co-directed, and performed in the play Esto lo estoy tocando mañana.
