About the Artist: A graduate of the Jette Parker Young Artists Program of the Royal Opera House, as well as the Ensemble Studio of the Canadian Opera Company, Gleadow has performed in the Altamire Summer Opera Concerts, the Ensemble Studio production of Dido and Aeneas, in performances of The Coffee Cantata, and in the roles of Colline in La bohème and Sprecher in Mozart’s The Magic Flute. With Glyndebourne Opera, Gleadow has performed as as Guglielmo in Così fan tutte and as Leporello in a tour of Don Giovanni. He has appeared with Opera de Lille in Dardanus, reprised the role of Colline in La bohème in Abu Dhabi and for his Dallas Opera debut, appeared in a Peter Sellars production of Tristan und Isolde for L’Opera de la Bastille, and performed Theseus in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Concert appearances include those with San Francisco Symphony for his concert debut in Händel’s Messiah, with Natalie Dessay in the Christmas Oratorio in Paris, and also in Mozart’s Requiem in Paris.
