Pianist/coach Elena Portnaya is an alumna of the Moscow Conservatory. Ms. Portnaya won both the grand prize and the Rachmaninov Award in Russia’s Classical Legacy International Piano Competition, as well as top prizes in the Alexander Tansman International Music Competition and the City of Porto International Music Competition, and Poland’s Chopin Award.  She has recently performed in London, Buenos Aires, Switzerland, Poland and New York City. Ms. Portnaya holds a doctoral degree in opera coaching from the University of Texas, Austin.
