• Experience high-energy opera, presented at your school, library or community center in a fully-staged, 45-minute performance. Performances are sung in English or English/Spanish and are designed especially for today's audiences. We bring costumes, sets and beautiful music to life for less than $2 per student! Shows available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Teachers receive a study guide in advance.

    When the king holds a fiesta for his son, Prince Paulo, to find a bride, havoc breaks loose as two stepsisters crash the party. The prince falls in love with an unknown senorita who leaves behind a glass slipper. Cinderella in Spain offers a bilingual opera experience that young audiences are guaranteed to enjoy.

    The Pastry Prince (An Italian Folktale)

    A down-and-out troupe of commedia dell-arte actors arrive to present a play of the classic Italian tale "The Pastry Prince" for the noble Duke of Bologna. As they rehearse for the big day, they have to take on a last-minute understudy, but things do not go quite as expected.

    Next season will offer a brand new program from Pre - k - 1st grade students to enjoy Opera to Go! at their level. 
    Opera Blasts adapts music from famous operas to teach the next generation of operagoers through engaging storytelling. Opera to Go! artists will visit up to five classrooms simultaneously, providing a personal, interactive environment for young students.

    Opera Blasts is available in conjunction with an Opera to Go! performance.
