Matt Hune makes his solo role debut at Houston Grand Opera in this production. He was a children’s chorister in the HGO production of Billy Budd in 1998. Mr. Hune is a founding member and artistic associate of the local theater company Back Porch Players. His credits at the Alley Theatre include Our Town and the regional premiere of Edward Albee’s The Goat or Who is Sylvia. He has also appeared in Pinocchio 3.5 with Stages Repertory Theatre and Ivan the Fool with Bobbindoctrin Puppet Theater. In Chicago, he created the roles of Shute in Locomotive Shark and Marxy in The Good Worker at The Inconvenience. Mr. Hune is a level one award winner in acting from the National Foundation for Advancement of the Arts, and teaches acting at HSPVA, the Alley Theatre and Stages Theatre Company in Minneapolis, MN.
