About the Artist: Lauded for her interpretations of operas by Rossini, Handel, and Mozart, DiDonato’s high-profile world premieres and signature roles in Rossini’s La Cenerentola and The Barber of Seville quickly garnered her honors including the Metropolitan Opera’s Beverly Sills Award and the German Echo Klassik “Female Singer of the Year” Award. A member of the young artist programs of the San Francisco, Houston Grand, and Santa Fe opera companies after graduate studies at Philadelphia’s Academy of Vocal Arts, DiDonato has an enthusiastic worldwide following. She has appeared on the world's major opera stages in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Chicago, Geneva, London, Madrid, Milan, Munich, New York, Paris, San Francisco, Tokyo, Vienna, and Berlin; given recitals and concerts at Wigmore Hall, Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, BBC Proms, and Carnegie Hall; and performed with the New York Philharmonic, Orchestre National de Paris, San Francisco Symphony, and the Cleveland, St. Luke's Chamber, St. Paul Chamber, and London Symphony orchestras.
