Tenor James Chamberlain made his Houston Grand Opera debut last fall as the Registrar in Puccini’s Madame Butterfly and returns as an Officer in Richard Strauss’s Ariadne auf Naxos this spring. He has sung with the Doctors’ Orchestra of Houston as the tenor soloist in Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. He was a studio artist in Opera New Jersey’s Apprentice Artist Program where he sang scenes from Puccini’s La bohème and Donizetti’s The Elixir of Love, and has also sung with Capital Opera Harrisburg and Penn State Opera Theater. Mr. Chamberlain is currently in his fifth season as a member of the Houston Grand Opera Chorus.
