Austin Dean

Austin Dean makes his professional debut in Dead Man Walking. Mr. Dean is in his second year at the University of Houston, where he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Choral Music Education. He is currently a member of the Moores School Concert Chorale and the a cappella group Men of Moores, with whom he was a soloist in Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen — he has also performed with the U of H Men’s Chorus. A native of Baytown, Texas, he is an alumnus of Ross Sterling High School. He has studied the saxophone, both classical and jazz, for eight years.
