About the Artist: Hyo Na Kim is a recent national grand finalist of the Metropolitan National Council Auditions, a first-prize winner of the Gerda Lissner Competition, and a multiple grant winner in the Licia Albanese-Puccini Foundation and Giulio Gari Foundation competitions. She earned her master of music degree and professional studies diploma in music from Mannes College, where she performed Dorabella in Così fan tutte, Marcellina in The Marriage of Figaro, and Annina in La traviata. She sang Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream at Israel's International Vocal Arts Institute and Olga in Eugene Onegin in an opera scenes performance at the Music Academy of the West. She also has sung the role of Suzuki in Madame Butterfly with Opera Lancaster and Opera Company of Middlebury.
